2021 – Virtual Walk

For the second year in a row, AIDSWalk San Francisco was held virtually, but in 2021, there was a meet up for team leaders in San Francisco for a brunch, where we could watch AIDSWalk celebrations around the country over television. Team Leaders were Steph Tember and Sumiko Saulson – Sumiko attended the in-person event with Garret Sohnly, and then joined their partner Princess and bos’ grandmother in San Jose for the virtual march. Steph Tember and other team members used Zoom to march virtually, and there was an online meet up in SecondLife as well. There were several online fundraising events that year.
